6:30PM to 7:00PM – Buffet Dinner served (Flip Productions playing the tunes)

 

6:30PM to 8:03PM – Introduction by Emcee, Master Social Dance Instructor, and Executive Director Frances Strain, Speech by Frank Portillo of Brown’s Chicken  and Catering, Line Dance performance by “Copernicus Dance Performers”, Community Award recipient – Leon Hirsch, Speech by Jill Grimshaw – Executive Director of High Ridge YMCA,  Community Award recipient – Guadalupe Gutierrez, special mention Community Award recipient – Maria Llopiz-Rosas Landa, Performance by “I Believe Youth Dancers”, Speech by Norman Viray – President and Chairman of DanceMates Educational Arts, NFP 

 

8:03PM to 8:55PM – Latin Orquestra “YANKATINO” (www.carpachosupercombo.com) plays Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Cha-Cha-Cha songs

 

8:56PM to 9:15PM – Salsa mini-lesson (How to Dance very basic Salsa movements with two women to one guy), icebreaker, & social dance mixer by Norm Viray, Master Social Dance Instructor

 

9:15PM to 9:35PM – Conga Line lead by Fran Strain, Master Social Dance Instructor; Electric Slide line dance; and Cha-Cha slide line dance (Flip Productions playing the tunes)  

 

9:36PM to 10:05PM – Latin Orquestra “YANKATINO” (www.carpachosupercombo.com) plays Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Cha-Cha-Cha; and also,  Merengue partner line presided by Fran Strain, Master Social Dance Instructor

 

10:06PM to 11:00PM -- FLIP Productions plays Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Cumbia to culminate the event!
